What is OATS?
WIOCC Group is the parent company of WIOCC and Open Access Data Centres (OADC). WIOCC Group has established OATS (Open Access Technical Services) to enable carriers, operators, hyperscalers, enterprise clients and governments to build, manage, operate and support African infrastructure.
In which countries can you provide services?
We have resources throughout Africa and Europe, including Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria, and the UK. We can provide services anywhere, working with partner organisations where required.
Which technologies can you manage?
We offer managed optical fibre networks, transport, core and access layers including DWDM, OTN, MPLS, GPON, IP and Ethernet technologies. We also manage inside and outside plant including core and edge data centres and customer premise data rooms and cabinets. Through partners we can offer security operations, cyber and IT infrastructure management.
What does Open Access mean?
OATS technical services are available to any business that may need them, and in all locations. You do not need to be an existing client of WIOCC or Open Access Data Centres.
Can you import and manage equipment?
We offer a range of logistics services, including Importer of record, staging, installing, commissioning, maintaining and assuring equipment. We also work with some of the largest original equipment manufacturers to offer services tailored to their products.
